PROJECTS

CASTLE UNDER THE SKY

Thesis - VR game with motion-controlled hack’n’slash and gesture based spellcasting

  • Showcased at Academy of Art University's Spring Show 2016

  • Built for Oculus Rift + Playstation Move controllers and ported to HTC Vive upon consumer release

  • Designed and implemented gameplay features (using mecanim for enemies, basic enemy AI, gaze-based audio switching, player systems, modified gesture tracking for mobile touch input to work with motion controllers)

  • Polish through visual and audio effects as well as obtaining feedback through user testing

SPACE SWEPT

Lead Game Designer - VR minigames with a focus on narration

  • Showcased at Academy of Art University's Spring Show 2016

  • Created level layouts and refined core mechanics

  • Polished an existing minigame and scripted two new minigames out of four planned
